The Nirvana is Mammut legendary mountain sports backpack, optimized for freeriding and ski touring. Versatile and perfectly equipped for winter, the Nirvana 22 is the ideal partner for a variety of activities. Organize and store all your gear in no time with its 270° zippered back panel, allowing easy access to the main compartment.

The separate space for avalanche equipment provides extra safety, while the internal pocket allows you to wear it with the Mammut back protector. You can also attach skis or a splitboard diagonally or in a triangle configuration. Its carrying system is designed to ensure maximum comfort and freedom of movement. The carefully selected fabrics are PFC-free and made from recycled materials, including the robust outer layer.

Additionally, this backpack showcases a unique logo, created in collaboration with the Freeride World Tour, bringing together Mammut's expertise and the spirit of this iconic freeride event just for you.

Minimal weight, maximum functionality. Lightweight, the Free 22 Removable Airbag 3.0 offers everything you expect from an avalanche backpack. Reliable and robust, our Airbag System 3.0 is the lightest on the market. The orange elements ensure better visibility from a distance. The carrying system is inspired by trail running vests: the load is placed close to the body and does not oscillate. The abdominal belt, optimized shoulder straps, and new 3D preformed back ensure high comfort and a perfect fit.

A practical detail: the main compartment is accessible from the top and via a convenient side zipper. Skis or snowboard can be attached diagonally using tension straps. Safety equipment has its place in a separate compartment, colored orange for your safety, making it easier to see you from afar. The outer material and lining of this PFC-free bag are made from recycled materials. The Free 22 is equipped with practical features such as a helmet holder, side compression straps, and loops for poles.

 

Features

The backpack includes the Removable Airbag System 3.0 (compressed air cartridge not included). It features a reliable, compact, and lightweight system with an adjustable height trigger handle and a bright orange airbag. The system is transferable between compatible backpacks. Comes with cartridge.
